EUKLID
Dual Euclidean rhythm generator
A dual Euclidean rhythm generator in 4 HP. Feed it a clock, choose how many hits fall on how many steps, and EUKLID spreads them as evenly as possible. Two channels of different lengths drift apart and meet again, so two simple settings grow into long, evolving polyrhythms.
Features
- Two independent channels, A and B: STEPS 1–32, HITS 0–STEPS, ROTATE and pulse length (10 ms trigger or 50 % gate)
- SPN auto-rotation: the pattern shifts by itself every 1–8 cycles
- CLOCK and RESET inputs, OUT A and OUT B gate outputs
- Animated 0.91" OLED screen — both patterns as rings or columns, the current step and the edited value in large digits
- Three buttons (−, +, MENU); settings are saved automatically
- Factory setting A = 5 of 16 (bossa nova), B = 7 of 13 — together they line up only every 208 clock pulses
- Kicks, hi-hats and envelope gates, polyrhythmic sequencer clocking, slowly evolving Berlin School patterns
